Soko is a woman-run marketplace for the developing world. Soko allows small artisans to set up custom storefronts with only their mobile phones to sell goods on the global marketplace. The majority of profits stay with vendors, allowing women to reinvest in their local communities. This Bow earrings are hand-cast using reclaimed brass door handles and sink faucets by a Kenyan artisan named Kine. Kine works out of Nairobi, at Kibera Arts Center in the slum where he lives. His goal is to help support the underprivileged youth in his community and their families.
